Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Lodestar Life Coaching (“Lodestar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of our website, client member areas, coaching services, programs, courses, memberships, events, downloads, digital products, and related offerings that reference these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website, purchase an offering, or participate in our services. Additional written agreements, program terms, order forms, or checkout disclosures may apply to a specific service. If a direct conflict exists, the more specific written agreement controls for that service.

Eligibility & Account Security

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use paid services or create a client account. By using our services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for protecting your password and account access, limiting access to your device, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use. You may not share member-area credentials, paid resources, or private program access with another person unless we give written permission.

Our Services

Lodestar provides faith-based holistic life coaching, educational resources, digital products, group experiences, and related personal-development services. Offer descriptions, schedules, deliverables, and pricing may change from time to time. We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue an offering when reasonably necessary.

Faith-based content reflects Lodestar’s Christian perspective and may include prayer, Scripture, spiritual reflection, and values-based exercises. Participation in a particular spiritual exercise is voluntary unless it is clearly described as an essential part of the selected program.

You may engage at your comfort level, request limited or no prayer integration, and express your personal beliefs respectfully. Lodestar seeks to create an environment of grace, not pressure.

Coaching, Wellness & Professional Disclaimer

Life coaching is a collaborative, educational, and forward-focused process intended to support reflection, clarity, accountability, habits, and meaningful progress. Coaching is not a substitute for services provided by a licensed medical, mental-health, legal, tax, investment, or other regulated professional.

• We do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any physical or mental-health condition.
• We do not provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, legal representation, medical nutrition therapy, or individualized financial or investment advice.
• You remain responsible for your choices, actions, health decisions, relationships, finances, and results.
• You should consult an appropriately licensed professional regarding concerns within that professional’s scope of practice.

Client Responsibilities & Coaching Relationship

Coaching works best when clients participate honestly, communicate respectfully, complete agreed actions, and raise concerns promptly. You agree to make your own decisions and to accept responsibility for the consequences of those decisions.

You understand that coaching may involve discussing personal goals, beliefs, habits, relationships, painful experiences, or areas of change. You may decline an exercise or request a pause. We may recommend that you seek support from a licensed professional when a concern is outside the scope of coaching.

Any confidentiality commitments specific to coaching are described in the applicable coaching agreement. Confidentiality may be limited when disclosure is required by law, court order, your written authorization, or a good-faith need to address an imminent safety concern, as permitted by applicable law.

Scheduling, Cancellations & Participation

Appointment availability, rescheduling rules, cancellation deadlines, missed-session terms, program start dates, and expiration periods will be stated in the relevant offer, booking page, or coaching agreement. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time and using the correct time zone and meeting link.

We may reschedule a session or adjust a program schedule due to illness, emergency, technology failure, low enrollment, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. When appropriate, we will offer a replacement date, credit, or other remedy consistent with the applicable service agreement.

Purchases, Payments & Refunds

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You agree to provide valid billing information and authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the amount shown at checkout, including disclosed taxes, installments, or recurring charges.

Refunds, cancellations, transfers, and credit terms vary by offering and are presented at checkout or in the applicable service agreement. Except where those specific terms or applicable law provide otherwise, completed digital downloads, accessed digital content, services already delivered and past coaching sessions are not refundable.

If a payment fails, is reversed, or becomes overdue, we may suspend access, pause services, or use lawful collection methods after providing any notice required by the applicable agreement or law. You remain responsible for approved charges and reasonable costs associated with a valid unpaid balance.

Memberships, Subscriptions & Payment Plans

If you enroll in a recurring membership or subscription, you authorize automatic charges at the frequency and amount disclosed at checkout until you cancel according to the stated cancellation process. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already processed or erase an outstanding payment-plan obligation.

A payment plan divides the total purchase price into installments; it is not necessarily a cancel-anytime subscription. The offer and checkout terms will identify whether an arrangement is a subscription, membership, or installment plan.

Intellectual Property & Limited License

The website and our original materials—including text, graphics, branding, frameworks, methods, workbooks, assessments, templates, recordings, courses, prayers, exercises, downloads, and program names—are owned by or licensed to Lodestar and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

When you lawfully purchase or receive a resource, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for your own noncommercial purposes. Unless we give written permission, you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, sell, sublicense, publish, or publicly display our materials.
• Share downloads, recordings, login credentials, course access, or client resources with another person.
• Use our content to train artificial-intelligence systems, create competing products, teach paid programs, or provide services to others.
• Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.
• Use Lodestar’s names, logos, program names, or marks in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement.

Acceptable Use & Community Conduct

You agree not to misuse the website, services, client portals, group spaces, or community features. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Violating law, another person’s rights, or these Terms.
• Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, exploitation, or disruptive conduct.
• Uploading malicious code, attempting unauthorized access, scraping, data mining, or interfering with website security.
• Posting confidential, infringing, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful content.
• Soliciting clients, promoting unrelated products, or sending spam in a private program or community without permission.
• Recording a private session, group meeting, or participant without all required consent.

We may moderate or remove content and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect participants, intellectual property, safety, or the integrity of our services.

Results, Testimonials & Educational Content

Personal growth and coaching outcomes vary. We do not guarantee healing, income, relationships, health improvements, spiritual outcomes, business results, or any particular transformation. Your results depend on many factors, including your circumstances, effort, decisions, consistency, and factors outside our control.

Testimonials and success stories reflect individual experiences and are not promises that another person will receive the same result. When we know that a testimonial is connected to compensation, a complimentary service, or another material relationship, we will disclose that relationship as required.

Website, blog, podcast, social-media, course, and resource-library content is provided for general educational and inspirational purposes and should not be relied upon as individualized professional advice.

Third-Party Services, Links & Privacy

Our website and services may use or link to third-party platforms for hosting, payments, scheduling, email, video meetings, file storage, client portals, social media, or other functions. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or conduct.

Your use of personal information is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it before submitting personal or sensitive information.

Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the website at any time and may end a service according to the applicable cancellation terms. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, material breach, unlawful activity, misuse of content, threats to safety, repeated disruption, or conduct that substantially harms Lodestar or other participants.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property protections, confidentiality duties, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute terms.

Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

Website and Service Availability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, general educational content, and digital services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or a specific result. We do not warrant that every feature will always be available or compatible with every device.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodestar and its owner, contractors, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the website, content, products, or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim related to a paid offering will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Lodestar for the specific offering giving rise to the claim during the six months before the event giving rise to liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lodestar harmless from third-party claims, losses, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, misuse of our services or materials, violation of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Before filing a legal claim, you and Lodestar agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally by sending written notice that describes the concern and requested resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after receipt of the notice, either party may pursue available legal remedies.

Unless applicable law requires another forum, legal proceedings relating to these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Colorado. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking appropriate emergency or injunctive relief, and nothing waives a right that cannot legally be waived.

General Terms & Changes

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without written permission; we may transfer ours as part of a lawful business reorganization or transaction.

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable written service agreement form the entire agreement regarding the covered subject matter and replace prior discussions on that subject. Headings are for convenience only.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal obligations. The revised Terms will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless law or a separate agreement provides otherwise.
